Coal, Coal! Our Country Needs Coal! – Bryn Residents Action Groups (BRAG)

Bryn Residents Action Groups (BRAG) are researching the history of coal mining in the villageof Bryn before and during the industrial revolution, and the project focuses on the influence that local coal had on the metal industries around the area. The project will catalogue the growth, the glory, and the demise of the golden era of Bryn when coal was king and will include the social aspect of village life. The information collected for this project will be based on interviews, photographs and memorabilia, visits, archive information and different forms of research carried out by members of local Historical Societies.
