Project Summary:

The Chinese Community Co-operative team, worked alongside Swansea University students and academic researchers, to interview elderly members of the local Chinese community to record their memories and stories that were translated into 10 short digital stories.

These recorded histories are complimented by research conducted at West Glamorgan Archives Service and family photographs donated to the project. These materials were collated  to create a dynamic visual record of immigration in the area to create a permanent record of this aspect of local community history. Resulting materials have been placed at West Glamorgan Archives Service and Swansea University Library.
