Daniel James Project: Premier at Mynyddbach Chapel

The premier of the animated film that tells the story of Daniel James life was shown for the first time at Mynyddbach Chapel last Wednesday evening (10.7.13.)

The local community turned out in great numbers to celebrate the completion and viewing of the animation. The audience also heared readings of James’ poetry by the local school children from Ysgol Gyfun Bryn Tawe Comprehensive School, Ysgol Gynradd Tirdeunaw Primary School and Ysgol Gynradd Gwyrosydd Primary School.

Swansea University student researchers, Bev Rogers, Teresa Hillier and Catrin Haines-Davies, gave a talk on the research they have gathered that has been translated into materials for film by the participating school children in animation workshops.

The evening was a fantastic sucess and we would very much like to thank everyone involved!
