This month there are a number of talks scheduled that focus on Swansea history.
On Friday afternoon, February 13th at 2. 30 pm at Trallwn Community Centre, Llansamlet Historical Society, Ann Rosser will talk on Harps and Harpists.
At Swansea Central Library on Saturday 14th February, Valentine’s day, starting at 2 pm in The Discovery Room,
Royston Kneath of Swansea Your Story will be giving an illustrated talk entitled Loved and Lost; Why Do We Lose What We Love?
Swansea Places That Have Changed and Gone Forever.
On Tuesday 17th February at the Vivian Hall, Blackpill, led Local History Society, Gwyn Evans will talk about the Memories of Old Clydach Project. Gwyn Evans is the Secretary of The Friends of Clydach.
On Saturday 21st February at National Waterfront Museum, the Swansea Branch of the Historical Association presents Dr Daniel Blackie’s talk on the buried history of disability in the coalfields.
