British Science Festival – Swansea University 6 – 11 September 2016

Taking place from 6-11 September, the Festival will be hosted by Swansea University with a focus on showcasing cutting-edge science. Thousands of people will come together to celebrate the latest developments in science and to engage in open discussion about issues and topics that affect our culture and society, including the legacy and heritage of science across Swansea and the surrounding communities.

There are calls for events for the BSF and Fringe Festival that are now live.

The first is open Swansea academics, which includes options for both the core programme and Fringe, and has a deadline of 18th January:

The second is the main call for Fringe weekend, which is open to anyone and has a deadline of 25th March:

This is a fantastic opportunity to take part and design events and activities that will showcase cutting edge science and celebrate the history of scientific innovation in Swansea.
