Glynn Vivian Art Gallery Activities Update

Glynn Vivian Art Gallery Traditional Craft Drop-in

While the Gallery is closed for redevelopment, the Glynn Vivian continues to run a lively programme of offsite activities and events at the YMCA,Swanseaand at various venues across the city.

This Saturday (March 8th) Glynn Vivian Learning Assistant, Arwen Roberts, will be hosting a Craft Drop-in day for local craft enthusiasts to demonstrate their skills and learn from other craft makers.

The Glynn Vivian Art Gallery Traditional Craft Drop-in, on Saturday 8 March and Saturday 5 April, from 11am – 4pm at the YMCA,Swansea.

Whatever your craft – crochet, knitting, embroidery, smocking, hand quilting – come along to our informal, comfortable setting, where visitors are encouraged to work on craft projects with people interested in similar crafts, inspiring and motivating each other.

You don’t need to be an expert, as long as you have passion for making, or would like to learn a new skill, come and discover something new.

The Craft Drop-in will be available all day, from 11am – 4pm, and tea and coffee will be provided. Spend an hour or stay all day. Free, everyone welcome, no booking required.
