Do you have materials that you would like to translate into packs or information for schools?

As a follow up to the last very popular session on creating schools packs we have designed a focused workshop to provide specific assistance and guidance to local people, groups and socities.

So please come and join us at the free workshop.
 
The session will enable those who attend to:
  • Learn what Teachers want.
  • See what’s out there already.
  • Make what you’ve got to offer schools accessible and irresistible.

Swansea Your Story – Autumn Talks

Swansea Your Stories Autumn Workshops and Talks will be held at the Discovery Room, Swansea Central Library.

Members and guest are welcome to all workshops and talks.

September 22 –  Colin James of The Historical Association, Swansea Barnch, will talk about the history of Swansea Castle.

October 20 – Roy kneath will talk about Photographs of Lost Swansea.

November 24 – Kneath will talk about ‘Shadows of Christmas Past.’

All workshops are from 11am – 2pm. Talks from 2pm.

Please bring your photographs for discussion. There will be time after all sessions to chat before the library closes at 4pm.

The film is an output of the Treboeth Historical Society’s ‘Daniel James Project’ and will shortly be distributed to local schools and there are plans to share the film with school across Wales.
